ARCHIVO DE SIMPLE CURIOSIDAD
CAN CAN PRESS, MISHMASH
ARCHIVO DE SIMPLE CURIOSIDAD gathers graphic artifacts from magical products collected in Mexico City's Mercado De Sonora. Labels, powders, oils, and soaps, that beyond their function reveal a visual language charged with history, desire, and belief. This book proposes a reading of design as a symbolic system; a crossing between the ritual and the everyday, where magic adapts, circulates, and persists. Through these objects, an archive emerges- one that speaks of love, money, protection, and luck; A portrait of what we continue to seek even in a world shaped by algorithms. This record presents a set of clues to that which cannot always be explained, yet continues to shape the ways we believe.
