The Hopecore Jersey is Tropical Futures’ reinterpretation of the classic football jersey, drawing direct reference from the iconic Kappa AS Roma jerseys of the early 2000s. Where a traditional jersey carries a club crest, sponsor, and player name, the Hopecore Jersey replaces these with TF branding and language drawn from #hopecore, an internet-born movement centered on sincerity, optimism, and emotional openness in an era of irony and detachment.
If blokecore was about adopting the football jersey as a fashion statement, hopecore occupies the feed with positive imagery, messages that fight against the algorithmic commoditization of our attention. This is a jersey for a club that doesn’t exist yet, playing a game worth believing in, and for a club worth building together.
The Hopecore Jersey launches May 14, 2026 on tropicalfutures.shop and will release with select retailers shrub0128 in Singapore, Asero in Manila, Homebody626 in Los Angeles, and Phase Space in Kuala Lumpur.
